FIGUR Bridal at the One Fine Day Wedding Fair, August 2026

On the 15th of August, Sydney's wedding industry came together for another year of the One Fine Day Wedding Fair, and we were right in the middle of it.

For two days, our FIGUR Bridal stand was home to hundreds of brides discovering our shapewear range in person, trying on different fits and styles, and asking the questions that don't get answered anywhere else. Jules was on the ground the whole weekend, meeting brides, talking through dress silhouettes and helping women find what actually works underneath.

It was one of our favourite weekends of the year.

The Stand

We brought the bridal experience to life with our full range on display, so brides could see and feel the difference between styles rather than guessing from a screen.

We also ran our Bridal Prize Pack giveaway, valued at over $2,000. Built around the idea of from prep to the aisle, it brought together a curated selection of beauty, wellness and bridal favourites from brands we love, an extension of what FIGUR has always been about: helping women feel confident and cared for in the lead-up to their wedding day.

Why We Do Bridal

FIGUR started with Jules' own frustration.

While filming Married at First Sight, she was wearing shapewear constantly and dealing with everything women complain about, garments that rolled, seams that moved, discomfort that lasted all day, and the practical nightmare of trying to go to the bathroom while fully dressed.

There had to be a better way.

So when FIGUR was created, comfort mattered as much as shaping and support. Our Ultimate Range uses multi-level compression to smooth and support, with gentle boning designed to help prevent rolling. We built different styles and torso lengths, including Petite and Tall options, because women's bodies aren't built in the same proportions. And our Ultimate styles include built-in underwear and an easy-access toilet design, because shapewear has to work in real life, especially across a twelve-hour day.

But FIGUR has never been about telling women their bodies need fixing.

Real body confidence is about knowing your body, working with what you've got, and loving yourself. Shapewear is simply another tool that can help you feel comfortable and confident in what you're wearing.

That conversation matters for every woman. It matters even more for brides.

Jules on Bridal Pressure

"There's so much pressure on women to look 'perfect' on their wedding day, knowing they'll be photographed from every angle and those photos will be there forever.

But perfection isn't what makes a beautiful photo. It's how you felt in that moment. The happiness, the people around you and everything the day represented.

Confidence will always shine brighter than any so-called 'perfect' body.

The question we were asked most across the weekend. Here's what Jules told brides at the stand:
